About
Another Country $$$$ operates somewhere between dub, jungle, drum and bass, garage, IDM, ambient pop and noise, which is a wider range than most acts dare to attempt. Live drums and visuals sit at the centre of their performances, and the tension between physical instrumentation and digital production gives the music its distinctive edge. They come out of Manchester's experimental DIY scene and are signed to Spinny Nights. Their live shows have taken them to Pitchfork Festival London and alongside acts such as Fat Dog, Baths, Kassie Krut and SCALER. Hectically rhythmic, sonically warped and with a cinematic quality running through it all, their sound resists easy categorisation and keeps shifting shape.
