About
ANZ is a British DJ and producer whose sound pulls from UK funky, 2 step garage, dubstep and jungle, stitched together with a cheerful energy that somehow stays fast and freewheeling at the same time. Based in Manchester, she built a following through prolific SoundCloud mixes before signing to Ninja Tune and founding her own label, OTMI. Her annual production mixes, often running 90 minutes across 30 plus tracks, became a calling card, earning her the Breakthrough DJ title from DJMag in 2020. Her 2021 EP All Hours is probably her most talked about release so far. Pitchfork called it a breakout moment, describing it as a step up to the major leagues, and praised her ability to find something magical even in the murkiest nightclub corner. With five EPs and two production mixes already in the bag, she has built a catalogue that feels both historically grounded and distinctly her own.
