About
Bangalore Choir built their name around a pretty impressive guest list from the start. Formed in 1991 around former Accept frontman David Reece, their debut album On Target featured songs co written by Jon Bon Jovi and Aldo Nova, and was produced by Max Norman. Despite those credentials, the record didn't find the audience it deserved and the band dissolved not long after. After nearly two decades away, Reece pushed for a reunion and the band came back swinging. The 2010 album Cadence, released through German label AOR Heaven, marked their return, and they followed it with Metaphor in 2012. Their sound sits firmly in glam metal and arena rock territory, big guitars, melodic hooks, the kind of stuff that was built for loud stages. The band has kept the momentum going well into the 2020s, with Center Mass dropping in 2023.
