About
Belgian Quo Band, formed in Ghent in the summer of 2007, grew out of a direct spark of inspiration from a Status Quo concert. The early years were spent mastering the Quo catalogue, and by 2010 the band had grown into a full tribute experience, complete with the kind of stage setup and visual presentation that Status Quo fans would recognise immediately. Bassist Lieven was among the musicians who joined during that formative period. Their live reputation built steadily over the years, earning them spots at festivals across Belgium and beyond. In 2022, celebrating fifteen years together, they pulled off a memorable moment at a Status Quo fan convention in England, where drummer Leon Cave, an actual member of Status Quo, jumped on stage as a guest. Guitarist Richie Malone has also shared the stage with them. Their crowd, who call themselves the Quo Family, keeps showing up for the reliably high energy sets.
