About
Bloody Civilian started out as a producer before stepping up front as an artist, and she writes, shoots, produces and directs a lot of her own work, including the video for her debut single "How To Kill A Man". The Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer got a big boost when her track "Wake Up", featuring Rema, landed on the soundtrack for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Her name nods to the military violence she saw around her in northern Nigeria. Her debut EP, Anger Management, came out in 2023, and she followed it with a remixed version stacked with guests like Odumodublvck, Fave, Tay Iwar, Joeboy and Miraa May. Her track "Blood on the Dance Floor" with Odumodublvck also went viral. NME tipped her as an essential emerging artist for 2023, and she later turned up on the EP for the Bob Marley biopic One Love, all while signed to 0207 Def Jam.
