About
BLUAI is an indie pop trio from Belgium, made up of Catherine Smet, Mo Govaerts and Caitlin Talbut. Rooted in indie folk with a lean toward accessible, personal songwriting, the band came together in 2021 and built momentum fast. Winning three Belgian music competitions in a single year, including Studio Brussel's De Nieuwe Lichting in 2022, put them on radio and festival stages almost immediately. Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, Lokerse Feesten and Cactus Festival all followed in short order. Their reach quickly stretched beyond Belgium. Festival slots at Lowlands, Vida Festival, Frequency Festival and Live at Leeds helped grow a European audience, and their live shows caught the attention of publications including Rolling Stone UK and The Independent. Their debut album Save It For Later cemented their reputation as one of the more interesting acts to emerge from the Belgian scene in recent years.
