About
Also known as: Sun Gods
The Radar Station is a Belgian indie rock band from Tremelo that blends cinematic soundscapes with layered synths, guitars, and introspective songwriting. The group formed in 2017 and consists of Brent Beukelaer on vocals and guitar, Sander Cliquet on guitar and synths, Robbe Broeckx on drums, Toon Rumen on bass, and percussionist Wes Verschoren. Comparisons to Snow Patrol, The National, and The War on Drugs give a reasonable sense of where they sit sonically. Winning De Nieuwe Lichting in 2020 opened a lot of doors. Their debut album Life Inside A Tornado received widespread radio play and led to sold out shows at AB, Trix, and Het Depot, plus festival slots at Dranouter and Labadoux. Since then the band has continued to develop their sound, releasing the single Big Big Town produced by Koen Gisen, and their album Birds Of Choice under V2 Records.
