About

Also known as: Brantley Keith Gilbert

Brantley Gilbert built his reputation writing hits for other people before scoring them for himself. The Jefferson, Georgia country rock artist co wrote Jason Aldean's massive singles "My Kinda Party" and "Dirt Road Anthem" before his own catalog started racking up number ones. Signed first to Colt Ford's Average Joes Entertainment, he released A Modern Day Prodigal Son and Halfway to Heaven before moving to Big Machine's Valory imprint, where his career really took off. Singles like "Country Must Be Country Wide", "Bottoms Up", and "One Hell of an Amen" all topped the country charts. His seventh studio album Tattoos dropped in 2024, featuring collaborations with Struggle Jennings, Demun Jones, and Justin Moore. He has also linked up with Jelly Roll on "Son of the Dirty South" and released the Blake Shelton and Vince Gill featured "Heaven by Then". A greatest hits compilation, Greatest Hits... So Far, is set to include three brand new songs, among them "Real American", written as the theme song for Real American Freestyle at the request of Hulk Hogan.
