About
Leeds rock outfit Caskets have packed a lot into a relatively short run, going from a self released debut EP to SharpTone Records and two full albums before most bands have figured out their sound. Originally called Captives, they were forced into a name change after a legal dispute with an Australian act, a situation that briefly froze their Spotify and YouTube presence. They pushed through it and dropped their debut album Lost Souls in August 2021, followed by Reflections in 2023. The band draws on a wide pool of influences, from Architects and Trivium to Funeral for a Friend and even Lewis Capaldi, and that range shows in their mix of melodic hooks and harder rock edges. They spent much of 2023 and 2024 on the road supporting We Came as Romans, Of Mice and Men, and Set It Off, building their fanbase show by show. Their third album, The Only Heaven You'll Know, is set for November 2025.
