About
CCC Inc. holds a remarkable place in Dutch music history as the country's first and longest running americana band, with roots stretching back to the late 1960s. They played the opening of Amsterdam's Paradiso in 1968 and the Melkweg in 1970, appeared at the Kralingen pop festival in 1970 and the very first edition of Pinkpop in 1971, and were still performing at Pinkpop Classic in 2013. The band's members have left their mark well beyond CCC Inc. itself: among them are former directors of Paradiso and the Nationaal Pop Instituut, as well as founding members and musicians of Doe Maar, widely regarded as the biggest phenomenon in Dutch pop history.
