Chri$tian Gate$ blends alternative pop, alt R&B, and dark pop into a sound that sits comfortably outside easy categories. His debut album No Strings Attached, released in 2024, was called genre blending by Hashtag Magazine and featured singles like TOXIC with Dutch Melrose, Secrets, and NUMB. Before that he put out the EP Why Do I Hear Breathing?, which already hinted at the moody, production forward direction he would pursue. One of the more remarkable entries on his resume is co writing Ride Or Die for Cai Xukun, a track that hit number one on QQ Music in China. Rolling Stone named him one of their Top 25 breakthrough artists, and he has taken his live show to venues like The Underworld in London. He also records and releases music under the alias ItsLuxcity, handling much of the production and engineering himself.
