About
Chris Stassy, until recently known as Chris Stussy, is a Dutch house and tech house DJ whose track "Desire" has racked up over 50 million Spotify streams. His real name is Niels Steenbergen, and he runs his own label, Up the Stuss, while also putting out music on Fuse London, Kaoz Theory, PIV and Rutilance Recordings. The run of "All Night Long" and the Midtown Playground EP in 2023 sent his numbers soaring, past 2 million monthly listeners. He has played Pacha, DC10, Amnesia, Coachella, Creamfields and Parklife, did his first Boiler Room in Edinburgh in 2024, and delivered a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix that same year. He also runs the USS event series in London, which has a strict no phones policy so the room stays focused on the DJ and the sound system. His debut album, Lost, Found & Forgotten, landed in April 2026, and he has also worked as part of the duo Across Boundaries.
