About
Formed in 2014, Erdling have carved out a firm place in the German language dark metal scene, building a loyal fanbase and steady streaming numbers along the way. Their sound resists easy labelling: it can be crushingly heavy one moment and anthemic the next, always wrapped in a distinctive atmosphere that sets them apart. Frontman Neill Freiwald leads the quartet, and the band recorded their album Mana at Fascination Street Studio, blending raw energy with mystical storytelling and sweeping melodies.
