Conan Gray's debut album Kid Krow landed at number five on the Billboard 200 in 2020, making it the biggest US artist debut that year, outpacing any solo pop debut in over two years. The record was powered by 'Maniac' and 'Heather', two songs that broke him onto international radio and streaming charts simultaneously. His sound sits somewhere between confessional indie pop and polished synth pop, the kind of music that feels personal but lands at scale. His second album Superache followed in 2022 and cracked the top ten in the US, UK, Australia, Ireland and the Netherlands. He kept the momentum going with Found Heaven in 2024 and Wishbone in 2025, the latter peaking at number three on the Billboard 200. Gray also holds the rights to his own masters through GirlyBoy Inc., a company he quietly trademarked back in 2018 and used for Wishbone.
