About
Devon Again, the stage name of Devon Johanningmeier, built her early fanbase on TikTok and SoundCloud, going viral in late 2020 partly through a duet with a polka beat. Her sound sits in the alt pop space, and one critic described her live shows as an "alt pop rage room" where the line between laughing and crying dissolves. Her debut EP PEE (2022) was co written and produced with Cameron Hale, and she followed it with In Order (2025) on Pizzaslime Records, a project she nearly abandoned before Chappell Roan urged her to stick with it. She has opened for both Chappell Roan and Maude Latour, and in May 2026 she signed to Amusement Records, the independent label Dan Nigro set up for Roan, with support via Interscope. Her primary collaborator Jon Buscema joined the label as producer and songwriter. She released the tracks "snake the drain" and "this time it's different" in June 2026, pointing toward a debut album.
