About
Brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence have been quietly reshaping dancefloors since the early 2010s, blending UK garage and Chicago house influences into something that somehow works just as well on festival mainstages as in sweaty clubs. Their debut album Settle hit number one on the UK Albums Chart in 2013, scored a 9.1 on Pitchfork, and earned a Grammy nomination, all on the back of tracks like "Latch" with Sam Smith and "White Noise" with AlunaGeorge. That was no fluke: the follow up, Caracal, debuted at number one too, featuring collaborators like Lorde, The Weeknd and Gregory Porter. Their third album Energy landed in 2020 and pulled off another Grammy nomination, including a nod for Best Dance Recording for "My High". They also run their own Method Records label, giving a platform to artists like Tourist and Karen Harding.
