About
Also known as: 에릭남 x 웬디
Eric Nam is one of the more recognizable faces in South Korea, and he got there by taking a very unusual route: a YouTube cover caught the eye of broadcaster MBC, which flew him to Seoul to compete on a talent show. He debuted in 2013 with the EP Cloud 9 and the single "Heaven's Door", and has been switching between pop records, TV hosting and collaborations ever since. His music leans on synth and electropop, with some dancehall and reggaeton colours on the 2018 EP Honestly. He has worked with Tablo, Timbaland, KOLAJ and Wendy of Red Velvet, and his single "Float" ended up on the Hotel Transylvania 3 soundtrack. Away from the studio, he has hosted shows like After School Club and Saturday Night Live Korea, and was named an Honorary Ambassador at the 2018 Winter Olympics. More recent releases include "I Don't Know You Anymore", "Lost On Me" and "Don't Leave Yet", all with official music videos.
