If you know ERNEST from "Flower Shops," the duet he released with Morgan Wallen in late 2021, you already know how sharp his songwriting instincts are. The Nashville native has quietly become one of country music's most in demand writers, with cuts for Morgan Wallen, Jake Owen, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Chris Lane, and Jelly Roll on his resume. That Florida Georgia Line connection goes back to co writing the title track of their 2016 album Dig Your Roots, and he has barely slowed down since. As a solo act signed to Big Loud, ERNEST has put out three studio albums: Locals Only in 2019, Flower Shops (The Album) in 2022, and Nashville, Tennessee in 2024. His sound pulls from hip hop and bro country in roughly equal measure, and he has even hosted a podcast, Just Being Ernest, where he talks shop with fellow musicians. In 2025 he dropped new lyric videos for "Did It Anyway" and "Another Thing To Love," a collaboration with Miranda Lambert.
