Also known as: Bruno Boumendil
Folamour, the Lyon based DJ and producer also known as Bruno Boumendil, has built a reputation on blending house grooves with disco textures and a genuine knack for atmosphere. His sample based four on the floor tracks earned him a solid foothold in the underground scene, but he has consistently pushed beyond that comfort zone. His 2017 debut album Umami drew on Japanese culture and wove together house, disco swing, and future jazz, while 2021's The Journey marked a bigger leap, swapping samples for live instruments and original vocals, and pulling in collaborators like SG Lewis and Zimbabwean artist Zeke Manyika. By December 2022 he had clocked over 500 live dates worldwide, playing everywhere from Paradiso in Amsterdam to Glastonbury and Tomorrowland. His 2023 album Manifesto, a 14 track release through Columbia France and his own FHUO Records, kept that momentum going with features from Amadou and Mariam and Jungle By Night. In 2024 he marked ten years in the industry with a new single and a free open air party back in Lyon, the city that shaped him.
