About
Free Finga started out as a child star on the Lithuanian TV show Tele Bim Bam, but by 2018 he had found a very different calling: writing Lithuanian language lyrics over sultry R&B beats. That combination of raw, honest songwriting, inventive rhyme structures in his mother tongue, and experimental sound design placed him among the artists shaping a distinctly modern Lithuanian sound in hip hop, pop, soul and trap. His creative output stretches well beyond the music itself. He directs his own videos, puts out handmade paper zines, has staged a one of a kind mobile phone exhibition, and produces tracks across multiple genres for other artists. On stage he performs with a full band, keeping things intimate and stripped back, letting the music breathe without elaborate production distractions.
