About
Guus Bok plays Dutch rock with a band behind him that knows how to get a room moving. Six musicians strong, they cover the heroes of Nederrock, from the poetic songwriting of De Dijk and The Scene to the rough, rock 'n' roll swagger of Herman Brood and the energy of the Tröckener Kecks. Besides the classics, Guus writes his own material, much of it drawing on those same influences, and he has put out an album called Bok 'n Roll Vol. 1. His band also has a day job of sorts as the house band of De Eretribune on ESPN, which tells you they are used to keeping things lively. Shows have even been teamed up with Museum RockArt, bringing rock memorabilia and a few good stories along. Think big singalongs, loud guitars and a healthy dose of nostalgia for Dutch rock history.
