About
h3nce operates in a space he calls "hyper rock", smashing together indie, digicore and grunge with the raw energy of punk and a firm DIY ethos. The music is fed by internet culture, fashion and videogames, and beneath the distorted guitars and adrenaline it reads like a teenager's diary, exploring identity, love and loss in a world that won't stay still. What started as bedroom demos grew into millions of streams and a devoted online following. His debut EP WRITE IT ON YOUR FLAGS made an immediate impression, raw and uncompromising in equal measure. The breakout single VICTIM TO MY BRAIN, a two minute jolt of a track, racked up millions of streams and landed him a European support tour. His live shows lean into the chaos, complete with moshpits and fans signing white flags, all tied together by a community built around his central idea: ignore expectations, feel everything, make music that sticks.
