Halestorm made history in 2013 when they became the first female fronted band ever to win the Grammy for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance, taking home the award for 'Love Bites (So Do I)'. The Pennsylvania four piece, built around siblings Lzzy and Arejay Hale alongside guitarist Joe Hottinger and bassist Josh Smith, plays a hard hitting blend of hard rock and alternative rock that has made them a genuine fixture on American rock radio. What really sets them apart is their relentless work ethic on the road, often clocking up to 250 shows a year. That grind paid off when they sold out their first headlining arena show in 2016. Their third album Into the Wild Life cracked the top five on the Billboard 200, and Vicious followed it into the top ten in 2018. They have kept busy with multiple covers albums alongside their studio output, showing a genuine love of playing other people's songs as much as their own.
