About
Hamburg's Half Me bring a dense, physical brand of metalcore built on low tuned guitar riffs, hard hitting breakdowns, and a vocal style that swings between aggressive screams and rhythmically punchy delivery. Formed in 2018, the four piece pulls from hardcore, nu metal, and industrial metal to build a sound that hits harder than most of their peers. Lyrically they sit in dark territory: personal alienation, social pressure, psychological strain. They signed to Arising Empire in 2021 and put out their debut album "Soma" in 2023 to solid reviews. Since then they have kept a relentless pace, dropping singles like "Nothing Left To Lose But The Chains" and "Fatalist" in 2024 while racking up touring experience across Europe, the UK, Australia, Japan, and the US. They released the "OPIUM EP" in late 2025 and spent much of that year sharing stages with acts like Northlane, The Ghost Inside, Whitechapel, and Stray From The Path. For a band only a few years into their career, the ground they have covered is genuinely impressive.
