About
Thrown are a Swedish nu metalcore band from Strängnäs, and one of their biggest assets is drummer and producer Buster Odeholm, known from Humanity's Last Breath and Vildhjarta. That connection gives the band a seriously heavy backbone, sitting somewhere between nu metal and metalcore with a hardcore edge. Signed to Arising Empire, they dropped their debut EP Extended Pain in 2022 and spent the next couple of years building a live reputation by supporting acts like Knocked Loose, Architects, and August Burns Red. Their debut album Excessive Guilt arrived in August 2024, packing 11 tracks into just over 20 minutes, which tells you everything about their approach: tight, punishing, no filler.
