About
A dark electropop duo based in Los Angeles, HALLOWS brings together Vanee Dusoruth and Dom Rolando, both originally from Mauritius, who grew out of the underground punk scene. Their sound layers 80s synths and contemporary electronics into something that sits right at the crossroads of dancefloor energy and genuine heartbreak, drawing from new wave and darker electronic traditions. Live, they deliver physically intense sets that stick with you well after the last note. Fans of Desire, Pixel Grip and Nuovo Testamento tend to find them immediately familiar. Their debut EP Subtle arrived in 2020, followed by the albums All That Is True (2021) and A Quieter Life (2023), which produced fan favourites like "All That Is True Dies", "Talk To Me" and "Things That Hurt". Those records brought them to festivals including Absolution Fest, Freakout Fest, Substance Fest and Verboden Fest. In 2025 the duo signed to Artoffact Records. Their third album Dream weaves analogue production, pulsing basslines and shimmering synths around themes of toxic love, loss and the hunger for human connection.
