About
Hannah Laing is a Dundee born DJ and producer whose sets sit at the intersection of hard house, trance and techno, and she has built a reputation as one of the most exciting names in UK dance music. Her 2019 remix of Sophie Ellis Bextor's Murder on the Dancefloor spread quickly through DJ sets worldwide, and in 2023 her single Good Love with RoRo spent 26 weeks in the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 7 and going Platinum. That same year she was nominated for a DJ Mag Best of Britain award and appeared on the Tidy Trax tribute album to hard house pioneer Tony De Vit. She runs her own label Doof, named after the thumping beat at the heart of her sound, and launched it into full gear with the six track EP Into the Doof in 2024. BBC Radio 1 has been a consistent champion, giving her Hottest Record nods for multiple releases and platforming her Essential Mix. In 2025 she launched Doof in the Park, a festival in Dundee that drew around 15,000 people and featured Armin van Buuren and Judge Jules alongside Laing herself headlining.
