About
Maddix is a Dutch DJ and producer who has carved out a genuinely unusual niche by blending techno, trance, and big room house into something that works for both underground crowds and festival main stages. His releases on Spinnin', Armada, Rave Culture, and Hardwell's Revealed Recordings have pulled in support from opposite ends of the electronic music spectrum, from techno heavyweights like Amelie Lens and DJ Umek to mainstream titans like Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. In 2023 he landed at number 95 on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list, was ranked the number 11 Most Played Producer by 1001 Tracklists, and came in at number 7 among the best selling techno artists on Beatport. That kind of cross genre pull is rare, and it points to why Maddix keeps showing up on lineups that span deep underground events and massive festival bookings alike.
