About
Also known as: Michael Wilson Hardy
HARDY is the kind of songwriter who keeps his name on other people's hits while quietly building a pretty wild catalog of his own. The Mississippi born, Nashville based artist has penned tracks for Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, and others, before stepping fully into the spotlight himself on Big Loud Records. His releases blur the lines between country and hard rock in ways that feel deliberate rather than gimmicky, and his 2023 album The Mockingbird and the Crow made that split literal: the first half leans traditional country, the second half goes full rock, with guest appearances from Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, and A Day to Remember's Jeremy McKinnon. Singles like "Wait in the Truck" and "Give Heaven Some Hell" have charted in both the US and Canada, and The Mockingbird and the Crow topped the country charts early in 2023. He followed it up with Quit!! in 2024 and Country! Country! in 2025, showing no signs of slowing down or picking a lane.
