About
High Spirits is a heavy metal outfit built around the creative mind of Chris Black, and their sound pulls straight from the classic heavy rock playbook of the early 1980s. Think huge, hooky choruses stacked on top of charging riffs, with the raw spirit of early NWOBHM running through every track. What sets them apart is how unashamedly melodic they are for a band this heavy. Every song feels designed to be sung back at full volume, full of momentum and energy without losing any of that metal edge.
