About
Isaac Lottman is a Dutch cellist with a particular affinity for French and Basque repertoire, drawn to what he describes as its dreamy and ironic qualities. He performs in chamber settings, including duo work with violinist Yente and with pianist Thijs Willers. Ravel features prominently in his programming alongside other French composers. His own words capture his appeal well: the colourful, imaginative character of that repertoire is exactly what keeps him coming back to it.
