TivoliVredenburg is a contemporary music complex situated in the centre of Utrecht, Netherlands, featuring five acoustically distinct halls designed for a variety of genres including symphonic, pop, jazz, chamber music, and dance. Opened in 2014 as a merger of the former Tivoli Oudegracht and Muziekcentrum Vredenburg, the venue attracts around 1.3 million visitors per year.
About Takács Quartet
Founded in Budapest in 1975, the Takács Quartet has spent five decades building one of the most distinctive live reputations in chamber music. The group celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 2025, and its longevity is anchored in part by cellist András Fejér, the sole remaining member from the original lineup.
