About
Winning the Grote Prijs van Nederland in early 2024 gave Amsterdam singer songwriter Jaïr Faria a serious boost, and he ran with it. His sound sits somewhere between pop, neo soul and indie rock, all delivered in English, and he spent the year building toward his debut EP Just As Ï Remember, which dropped in November 2024. Festival sets at Down The Rabbit Hole, Into the Great Wide Open and Motel Mozaïque put him in front of bigger crowds, and two sold nights at Amsterdam venue Melkweg showed the hometown support was real. He first got attention back in 2021 with the solo single Valentine, but it was the run of releases and live work through 2023 and 2024 that really established him. More recently he shared Cry About It, a live visualizer released in early 2026, so the momentum is clearly still going.
