Jake Owen has built one of the more dependable careers in contemporary country, racking up four number one hits in a row between 2011 and 2014. Signed to RCA Nashville, he broke through big with "Barefoot Blue Jean Night", the breezy title track to his third album, which hit the top of the country chart in September 2011. Three more chart toppers followed: "Alone with You", "The One That Got Away", and "Beachin'", the last of which came from his fourth album Days of Gold and perfectly captured his sun soaked, party ready vibe. His sound sits comfortably in the bro country and country pop lane, equal parts tailgate and beach towel. Over the years he has toured as an opening act for some of the biggest names in country, including Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and Jason Aldean. His 2012 EP Endless Summer featured a collaboration with Florida Georgia Line that cracked the top 40 without even being released as a proper single.
