About
Jamie Grey is a British singer songwriter who first caught attention in 2019 with the debut track Arms Around You, which landed straight on Spotify's Sad Songs playlist. That early momentum carried forward, and What You're Running From went on to rack up over 30 million streams. Grey's sound has shifted noticeably since those early releases, drawing inspiration from the big vocal traditions of Motown alongside more contemporary influences like Arctic Monkeys and Paolo Nutini, a combination that gives the music a rootsy warmth with a modern edge.
