Jason Mraz built his reputation the hard way, playing coffee houses in San Diego week after week before breaking through to a mainstream audience. His big moment came with "I'm Yours" from the 2008 album We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things., a song that sat on the Billboard Hot 100 for a then record 76 weeks and eventually went Diamond. That album also gave him two Grammy winning singles in "Make It Mine" and "Lucky," a duet with Colbie Caillat. His pop rock sound sits somewhere between acoustic warmth and radio friendly polish, and the hits kept coming. "I Won't Give Up" from Love Is a Four Letter Word landed him a second top ten on the Hot 100, and he followed it with Yes! and Know. before signing with BMG and releasing Look for the Good and Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride. Outside music, he showed a different side by competing on season 32 of Dancing with the Stars, finishing just one spot off the top.
