Jeremy Loops built his sound around a loop pedal, using it to layer guitars, beats, and vocals entirely on his own, a technique he picked up while working on a superyacht with no other musicians around. That DIY approach carried him from the stages of South Africa to the US, Europe, and Australia, with a style that blends funk, soul, jazz, and hip hop into something that feels genuinely live and spontaneous. His 2014 debut album Trading Change hit number one on iTunes South Africa and spawned the smash single "Down South" featuring Motheo Moleko, which topped radio charts across the country. He spent the following years relentlessly touring internationally, including a run supporting Twenty One Pilots on their Blurryface Tour in Europe. His third album Heard You Got Love arrived in 2022, and a fourth record Feathers and Stone followed in 2025, showing no signs of slowing down.
