Jesse Hydro is a singer, songwriter and producer from Utrecht who writes English language pop songs built around personal storytelling and a sharp ear for melody. He keeps a self compiled list of words he finds beautiful and draws on it when writing, which gives his music a distinctly intimate, candid quality. His choruses tend to stick around long after the song ends. He first reached a wider audience through TikTok, where Dutch language covers including Sweet, Salt, Sour racked up hundreds of thousands of views and built him a devoted online following. From there he moved into live territory, opening for FLEMMING and Edwin Evers, taking part in the Popronde, and performing on the main stage at Live at the Lake. Radio and TV have followed too, with appearances on the 538 Ochtendshow and a feature on SBS Shownieuws.
