About
Tokyo's JILUKA have carved out a distinctive corner of the visual kei world by pushing the genre into heavier, more abrasive territory. The four piece, made up of Ricko, Sena, Boogie and Zyean, runs their own label Faizh Music and blends industrial metal, metalcore and electronic elements under their self coined tag "Electro Gothic Metal". Their 2018 full length Metamorphose landed at number eight on the Oricon Indies Albums chart, and by 2024 JRock News had ranked them second among all visual kei and Japanese rock artists, trailing only The Gazette. The band has steadily built an international profile to match their domestic fanbase. Their K4RMA world tour saw every European solo date sell out, and they became the first visual kei act to perform in Portugal. Recent music videos for tracks like KUMARI, BLVCK, OVERKILL, VENΦM and S4VAGE show a band that keeps its foot firmly on the gas, mixing punishing riffs with a sharp visual aesthetic.
