John Corabi is probably best known as the guy who stepped into Mötley Crüe when Vince Neil walked out, recording the band's self titled 1994 album with them. The record was heavier and more ambitious than anything the Crüe had done before, but it stalled commercially, and when the label refused to fund the follow up without Neil back on board, Corabi was out. He's always been candid about it, famously saying the album would have made it under a different band name. Beyond Crüe, he's been everywhere in hard rock, fronting the supergroup the Dead Daisies, co founding Union with former Kiss guitarist Bruce Kulick, and doing stints with Ratt, Brides of Destruction and a handful of other projects. In 2022 he published his autobiography, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, and he has a solo album in the works.
