About
Julian Perretta is the kind of artist who finds his biggest audiences far from home. London raised and signed to Universal Music Group, he broke through with the 2010 single "Wonder Why", which landed in the top 5 on iTunes charts across Europe and eventually went platinum. His debut album, Stitch Me Up, hit number 1 in France and went platinum too, cementing his reputation as a pop act that resonated more with continental Europe than with UK crowds. The collaborations he has racked up are genuinely impressive. He joined Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse on a European tour back in 2008, appeared as a special guest on Beyoncé arena tours on two separate occasions, and worked alongside Ed Sheeran across multiple European dates. His 2015 collaboration with Belgian producer Lost Frequencies, "Miracle", became his biggest solo hit, selling over 1.2 million copies and reaching number 1 in more than 14 countries. More recently he has teamed up with German producer Southstar on the global hit "Miss You" and collaborated with Purple Disco Machine and Kungs on "Substitution".
