About
Also known as: Kane Allen Brown
Kane Brown made history in October 2017 when he became the first artist ever to hold simultaneous number ones on all five main Billboard country charts, a feat powered largely by 'What Ifs', his duet with childhood choir buddy Lauren Alaina. Before any of that, he built his fanbase the hard way, posting cover videos on Facebook from a home studio in Nashville until a cover of George Strait's 'Check Yes or No' racked up over seven million views and his follower count blew past a million. His self titled debut album arrived in December 2016, and his second record, Experiment, went straight to number one on the Billboard 200 in 2018. Brown's sound pulls from country, R&B and pop, and his willingness to blur genre lines has made him a distinctive voice in contemporary country.
