Few pop careers have had as many reinventions as Kylie Minogue's. The Melbourne born singer first broke through as a pure pop force under the production trio Stock, Aitken and Waterman, racking up a string of hits including "I Should Be So Lucky" and "The Loco Motion", with her debut album hitting number one in the UK and becoming one of the best selling albums of the 1980s there. Feeling boxed in, she eventually walked away and signed with indie dance label Deconstruction, collaborating with producers like Brothers in Rhythm and M People to craft a more experimental, R&B tinged sound on her 1994 self titled album. That pivot paid off, and she never really stopped evolving. "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" became one of the defining pop moments of the 2000s, and her 2023 track "Padam Padam" proved she still knows exactly how to soundtrack a dancefloor.
