About
Laura Dooge is a vocalist who released a Christmas album together with arranger and tenor saxophonist Lachy Hamilton, funded through a successful crowdfunding campaign. The record brings together both well known and more obscure Christmas songs, performed by an eight piece ensemble featuring flute, trumpet, trombone, piano, double bass and drums. Hamilton's arrangements give the material a swinging, playful character that sets it apart from the usual seasonal fare.
