About
Left to Suffer built their reputation on a sound they call "nu deathcore", blending the groove and swagger of nu metal into the crushing heaviness of deathcore. Formed in Atlanta in 2019, they broke through with the On Death EP in 2021, pulling in guests from Crystal Lake, Alpha Wolf, and Chelsea Grin, and even releasing an audiobook tied to the EP's themes. Their collaborative streak is a real signature: they've worked with Lorna Shore's Will Ramos, trap metal act Kim Dracula, and Fit for an Autopsy's Joe Badolato, among others. Their second album Feral landed in 2023 to strong praise, with Wall of Sound calling it a phenomenal effort. Around the same time, they released the EP Noah, co produced by Three Days Grace drummer Neil Sanderson and producer Howard Benson, a pairing that came about after Sanderson went searching for the heaviest band in Atlanta. Third album Leap of Death followed in 2024, keeping the momentum going for a band that Revolver has called a mainstay of the deathcore scene.
