About
Distant came together as a deathcore act spanning the Netherlands and Slovakia, and they have been quietly stacking up a serious discography since their debut full length Tyrannotophia dropped via Unique Leader Records in 2019. Aeons Of Oblivion followed two years later, then Heritage in 2023 marked a new chapter after the band signed with Century Media Records. Their sound sits in heavy territory, pulling from deathcore, death metal and metalcore. In 2024 they put out Tsukuyomi: The Origin, a reimagined take on their 2017 EP that brought in some serious guest firepower, including Matt Heafy of Trivium, Alex Erian of Despised Icon, David Simonich of Signs of the Swarm and Travis Worland of Enterprise Earth. That kind of feature list says a lot about where they stand in the scene.
