About
Linde Schöne is a Dutch singer songwriter from Nijmegen who broke through almost overnight with her 2016 EP Liefde van de vloer, a project that landed her support slots with Diggy Dex and Eefje de Visser and a spot at Lowlands the following year. Her early sound had strong hip hop roots, partly thanks to signing with Jiggy Djé's label Noah's Ark as their first female artist. After going quiet for a few years to write for other artists like Trijntje Oosterhuis and Maan, she came back in 2020 with her debut album Nog heel even, a more commercial direction she described as a better fit for who she actually is. The album dealt openly with a difficult relationship, depression and finding her way back. Since then she has put out two more records, Teugels and the festive Kerstmis Baby!, both released in 2022 and both under her own management after splitting from her label.
