About
Also known as: Lisa Marlene Shaffer
Lisa Marlene makes vocal driven pop with strong threads of rock and soul running through it. Her songs shift comfortably between melancholic piano ballads and uptempo pop, but what ties them together is an emotional honesty that feels completely natural rather than performed. The lyrics offer comfort, the voice radiates warmth, and the overall effect is music that gives space to feelings that often go unspoken. She writes for anyone who has ever felt lost or not quite enough, and that clarity of purpose gives her songs a quiet intimacy that lingers.
