LOE. makes Nederlandstalige pop that sits somewhere between fairy tale and philosophy, blending vulnerability with danceability across a sound built on synths and guitars. Her music has a theatrical, explosive quality to it, touching on activism and existential reflection while still moving your feet. The EP kersenbloed is a good entry point: layered and immersive, with imagery drawn from things like cherry blood, the voice of the sea, and the idea that adults are really just children pretending. She launched the release with a headline show at TivoliVredenburg's Pandora stage, which says something about the scale she is already operating at.
