About

Three albums deep and two of them chart toppers in the UK, London Grammar have quietly built one of the more durable careers in British indie pop. The Nottingham formed trio, Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman, and Dominic "Dot" Major, broke through with their debut album If You Wait in 2013, which hit No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and went Double Platinum. Reid's voice is the centrepiece: rich, controlled, and capable of carrying sparse electronic arrangements as easily as fuller productions. Their debut spawned standout tracks like "Strong", which won them an Ivor Novello Award, and "Hey Now", which Dior later picked up for a J'Adore campaign. They've worked with producers Paul Epworth and Greg Kurstin, collaborated with Disclosure and Flume, and had their cover of "Wicked Game" land in a Peaky Blinders trailer. Their third album, Californian Soil, reached No. 1 in the UK in 2021, confirming they're nowhere near a one album story.
